01 · What is PGX?
What is PGX in one sentence?
A shirt with a QR code on the back. Whoever scans lands on your profile — and you decide what's on it.
The profile is editable any time. What scanners see, you control piece by piece: name, bio, looking-for, favorite drink, body stats, Insta handle — every block is optional, every one can be toggled on or off. No app download for the scanner, no account requirement for you.
How does this work in everyday life?
Picture yourself wearing your PGX shirt at a bar.
Someone sees you, wants to know more, but doesn't want to approach you directly. They scan your QR code with their phone camera. Browser opens, your profile is there — maybe a handwritten note, maybe your Instagram handle, maybe a cocktail with your name next to it.
What they do with that is their business. If they message you, they know where to start. If they do nothing, you didn't even notice. You weren't bothered, no one has an obligation to respond. PGX is the bridge between seeing and talking — that's all.
What does someone see who scans the QR but doesn't know PGX at all?
A clean, clear profile page. Obvious who that is and what they want to show, without explainer-blocks and without marketing spam.
In the footer, a subtle hint about what PGX actually is — and if interested in their own shirt, a link to the shop. But no one has to sign up, no one gets a pop-up, no one is pushed into an account. Scan → read → close. Nothing else happens.
Why not just print Instagram on the shirt?
Three reasons:
- An Insta handle is static. What you print on today still shows three years from now. PGX you can reconfigure any time — today a flirt profile, tomorrow a business card, the day after a tip jar.
- Privacy is granular. You decide per field whether it's public, hidden behind tap-to-reveal, or invisible. An Insta handle is all-or-nothing.
- Scan-vs-follow threshold. Scanning a stranger's Insta handle is a different action than scanning a "designed-to-be-scanned" QR code. The QR signals: looking is okay. Insta-stalking feels creepy.
02 · Editions & Personalization
What editions are there?
Six editions, each with its own slogan, shirt type, and tone:
- STALKER! — Polo Sky Blue. Direct, bold, "I'm here".
- 18+ — Polo Off-White. Cryptic warning. Those who know, know.
- KNOCK KNOCK. — Polo Soft Pink. Door reference, playful.
- HANDLE WITH CARE — Tee Buttercream. Premium-fragile-coded, soft signal.
- SCAN ME, DADDY — Tank Navy. Camp queer-coded, very direct.
- DO NOT SCAN — Tank White. Anti-marketing reverse psychology — of course you want it scanned.
Each edition has its own personality. Pick the one that fits you — or grab several for different situations.
What does the Aperture variant choice at checkout mean?
At checkout, in addition to the edition, you choose an Aperture variant — the exact rendering of the PGX logo on your shirt. Ten variants, each with its own visual tone.
This choice makes your shirt yours. Exactly this combo (edition + Aperture variant + size) is produced for you — print-on-demand, no stock. This is also the legal reason there's no standard right of withdrawal (more in §07): every shirt is actually made for YOU, not pulled from a warehouse.
Why are slogan, shirt type, and shirt color coupled to the edition?
Brand curation. The six editions are designed as distinct personalities — STALKER! reads differently on a Polo Sky Blue than on a black tank. If you could freely combine everything, each edition would visually dilute.
What you freely choose: Aperture variant + size. What we keep curated: which slogan sits on which shirt type in which color.
03 · Orders & Shipping
How long until my shirt arrives?
We produce on-demand — every shirt is printed only after you order. That typically takes:
- Production: 1–3 working days
- Shipping within the EU: 3–5 working days
- Shipping UK / Switzerland: 4–7 working days
- Shipping USA / Canada: 3–6 working days
- Shipping rest of world: 5–10 working days
At checkout we show you the expected delivery time for your delivery country directly.
Where do you deliver?
We ship to all countries where our production partner Gelato offers delivery — that's over 200 countries worldwide. Which delivery countries are currently available, you'll see in the checkout step.
Thanks to local production in 32 countries, your shirt is typically produced in the country or region closest to your delivery address — saves shipping time and CO₂.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on your delivery country and are shown transparently during the order process before you pay. We use flat-rate shipping — within the same region you always pay the same shipping, regardless of size or edition.
Concrete shipping prices per region are visible at checkout (amounts come from Gelato pricing and can occasionally adjust).
Can I track my order?
Yes. As soon as your shirt leaves production, we send you a shipping notification with tracking link to your email. You can also see the status in your account.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Since we produce on-demand, your order goes into print right after payment. Changes or cancellation are only possible within the first ~15 minutes after ordering, as long as the print job hasn't been handed off to our production partner yet. Write us immediately at [email protected] — we'll try to stop it.
Once printing has started, cancellation is unfortunately no longer possible, because the shirt is individually made for you.
04 · Account & Payment
Do I need an account to order?
No. You go directly through checkout, enter email + shipping address, pay — done. Your account is automatically created when you activate your shirt (see §08).
How do I log in later?
Via magic link. You enter your email on pgxwear.com/login, get a link in your inbox, click it — in. No password, no reset workflow, no 2FA app. Email is your identity.
The activation or login email doesn't arrive?
First check the spam folder — with some providers (especially GMX, Web.de, Gmail) transaction emails occasionally land there, because pgxwear.com is still a young sender building reputation. Marking "not spam" helps everyone long-term.
If the email isn't in spam either: write us at [email protected] — we'll send the link manually.
Can I have multiple shirts on one account?
Yes. Every shirt has its own unique QR code, but all of them live under the same email identity in your account. You can configure each shirt independently — one edition for Berghain weekends, another for the conference, a third as a tip jar for your studio.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Via Stripe, the following are available:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- SEPA Direct Debit (for EU customers)
- Klarna (Pay-Later) — depending on country
Which are available exactly, you'll see in the checkout step. We don't store any payment data ourselves — everything runs directly through Stripe.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, automatically by email after the order. If you lose it, you can re-download it from your account at any time.
Why is there no VAT on the invoice?
We operate as a small business under §19 UStG (German tax law). Meaning: we don't charge or show VAT, the final price is the real price without hidden surcharges. This applies during the build-up phase and may change later — we'll inform you transparently when it does.
International orders — are there customs duties?
Within the EU + EEA (Germany, Austria, EU countries): no additional fees. The checkout price is final.
Switzerland, UK, USA, other non-EU countries: depending on country, local import duties or VAT may apply on delivery, paid directly to the courier. These are outside our control. We flag this at checkout before you order.
How secure is the payment?
Very secure. All payments run directly through Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest standard for payment services). We never see your card number, we don't store it, it's not processed on our servers. Stripe is based in Ireland (EU) and used by Apple, Shopify, and thousands of other brands.
Who's behind PGX?
PGX is run by Cayan Oyman as a sole proprietorship in southern Germany. No corporation, no investors, no VC pressure. We build this at our own pace and finance ourselves through shirt sales.
Direct contact: [email protected]. Full provider data in the Legal Notice.
Where is it produced?
In Gelato's print-on-demand process, with local production facilities in over 30 countries. Your order is produced in the region closest to your delivery address — EU buyers get EU print, US buyers US print, etc. Saves shipping time and CO₂.
05 · Sizes & Fit
How do I find the right size?
Each shirt type has its own size chart (Polo, Tank, Tee). The best approach: take a well-fitting shirt from your closet, lay it flat, measure chest width and length, and compare with our chart.
We use unisex cuts. If you're between two sizes and prefer a looser fit, go up one — the fabrics don't shrink much, but there's always some give.
Size chart — Polo
Measurements in centimeters, approx. ±2 cm tolerance.
Will be filled with final values from the Gelato product sheet before launch.

What if the shirt doesn't fit?
If your size doesn't fit, we exchange for free into another — provided the shirt is unworn, undamaged, and you haven't activated the QR code yet. Write us within 30 days of receipt at [email protected], we'll send you a prepaid return label.
Details on the exchange process on the Service page.
06 · Care & Material
How do I wash my PGX shirt?
So the print stays beautiful long-term:
- Turn inside out before washing
- 30°C or cooler, gentle cycle
- Mild detergent, no fabric softener
- No chlorine bleach
- Wash with similar colors
How do I dry it?
Air drying is gentlest for the print. If using a dryer, lowest setting and also inside out.
Can I iron it?
Iron only on low heat, inside out, and never directly on the print. Also avoid ironing sprays or steam directly on the printed area.
What's that smell after unpacking?
Sometimes fresh DTG prints smell slightly of vinegar or you see a whitish tint — that's the fixing solution that bonds the print with the fabric. Completely harmless and disappears entirely after the first wash.
What material is used?
We use high-quality cotton and cotton-blend fabrics (depending on edition). Specific material composition per edition is shown in the product detail in the shop.
Material specs per edition will be finalized from the Gelato product sheet before launch.
07 · Returns & Exchanges
Is there a right of withdrawal?
Since every PGX shirt is made for you in print-on-demand based on your individual choices (slogan + Aperture variant + size), the statutory right of withdrawal under §312g (2) No. 1 BGB (German Civil Code) is excluded.
But: we don't leave you hanging if something's off. See the next questions.
I received a defective or wrong shirt — what now?
Print error, visible material defect, or wrong delivery — no problem. We re-produce one for free. Write us within 14 days of receipt with photo evidence at [email protected].
Size doesn't fit — can I exchange?
Yes, within 30 days of receipt — free. Conditions:
- Shirt is unactivated (you haven't used the QR code for profile setup yet)
- Shirt is unworn and undamaged
- Original packaging if possible
Write us at [email protected], we'll send you a free return label and re-produce the new size in the same slogan and Aperture variant.
I wasn't sure about the order — what can I do?
Even though there's no legal right of withdrawal, we accept one other return per customer and credit the purchase price as store credit to your PGX account. Conditions:
- Shirt is unactivated, unworn, and undamaged
- Request made within 14 days of receipt
- You cover return shipping yourself
The store credit is redeemable on pgxwear.com (hardware, more editions, add-ons) and never expires. No cash payout possible.
08 · QR Code & Profile
How do I activate my shirt?
After receiving your shirt, you get an activation email with a magic link. Click it, set up your profile, done — from then on, every scan of your QR code leads to your profile.
The activation link is usable at any time, it doesn't expire. If the email lands in spam or you lose it: write us at [email protected], we'll send a new link.
What do people see who scan my QR code?
Exactly what you've released in your profile editor. You control every single section — name, bio, My Type, drink, body, kinks, connect handles — everything is optional.
Before activation, the QR code leads to a PGX brand page with no personal data. Only after your activation does your profile become visible.
Can I change my profile later?
Any time. Login on pgxwear.com/editor, edit, save — changes are live immediately. No limits and no costs for changes.
Can I have different profiles on one shirt?
From a later update yes — then you can create different personas on the same shirt (e.g. one for weekends, one for work) and switch between them. Currently, every QR code shows one profile.
What happens if I sell or give away my shirt?
You can set your shirt to "Transfer" in your account. The QR code is then detached from your profile, the new owner gets a fresh activation link and can create their own profile. Your profile is preserved in case you buy a new shirt.
What if pgxwear.com goes offline — does my shirt still work?
If our server is briefly unreachable, the QR code obviously can't lead to the profile — but the scanner gets a cleanly made offline page, not an ugly 404 error. Server downtime is very rare (we run on Hetzner with standard EU infrastructure + Cloudflare as CDN in front).
If PGX ever shuts down completely, we'd announce it well in advance, offer all users their profile data as an export, and keep the service running until all data is secured. No "gone overnight".
09 · 18+ & Privacy
Are PGX profiles public?
Profiles are publicly accessible at pgxwear.com/u/your-slug — but no one finds them by accident. There's no search function, no discovery, no feed. The only way to see a profile is to scan the QR code on the shirt or know the direct link.
How does the 18+ protection work?
If you want to show sexually explicit content in your profile, you mark it as explicit in the editor. At the first scan, an 18+ notice then appears that the scanner must confirm — after that, your profile is normally visible. The notice doesn't appear again for the same scanner for 90 days.
Profiles without explicit content (e.g. business card or café persona) show no 18+ notice.
Who stores what about me?
We store only what you enter yourself:
- Order: name, delivery address, email (additionally processed by Stripe + Gelato for payment + shipping)
- Profile: your own profile entries (you can delete them any time)
- Server logs: IP address for 7 days for attack defense, then anonymized
We use no tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my profile?
In the editor under Account → Delete Profile. Or write us at [email protected], we'll do it manually. After deletion, the QR code leads back to the generic PGX brand page — until you set up a new profile.
Can I delete my profile even after selling the shirt?
Yes. Your PGX account is independent of the physical shirt hardware — we can completely delete your profile and all your data on request at any time, regardless of whether you still have the shirt or have already passed it on. Write us at [email protected] with "Please delete all data" and we'll do it within 7 days + confirm the deletion in writing.
If the shirt is sold and you delete your profile before that: the new owner activates the shirt fresh and can create their own profile — the QR code lives on, your content is gone.
What if someone harasses me through the shirt?
You can deactivate your profile at any time — then the QR code leads to a neutral PGX page and no one sees anything anymore. If you need help or want to report an incident, write us at [email protected].
